This course is a required course for high school students. This Geometry course is usually completed during the tenth-grade year and is a prerequisite for the algebra 2 course. The main goals of this course are to enable students to engage in mathematical ways of thinking that include both inductive and deductive reasoning as well as to give them the fundamental knowledge of plane and solid geometry that will provide a basis for the algebraic, numerical, graphical and verbal analysis required for more advanced math courses.
